Cycling and walking from Mayroyd

Mountain bike or road cycling holiday?

No need to choose, Mayroyd Mill House is the ideal base for both – and more.

The famous hills of Yorkshire are all around, with road routes as well as some of the finest mountain bike riding in the Pennines.

If you prefer easy day rides then the front door quite literally opens onto Sustrans National Cycle Route 66 next to the canal.

And for hillclimb fanatics there are seriously steep hills to be found in and around Hebden Bridge, up Cragg Vale and beyond.

The house has plenty of indoor storage for all the bikes you want to bring, and the kitchen is large, warm and welcoming for post-ride recovery and refreshment.

For a day off the bike relax in the garden, stroll along the canal towpath to town, or take the children to the park and playground without having to cross a road.

You can find routes and ideas around here at Cycle Calderdale.
